OUR LADY PUBLSH. - 2023/...
OUR LADY PUBLSH. is an ongoing artistic research project exploring music, authorship, archives, publishing and storytelling through a growing catalogue of real and fictional artists, reconstructed histories and multimedia publications.
Operating simultaneously as a publishing house, record label, archive and conceptual artwork, the project investigates how cultural narratives are produced, transmitted, preserved and transformed over time. Through the creation of fictional personas, lost recordings, speculative histories and physical editions, OUR LADY PUBLSH. blurs the boundaries between documentation and invention, memory and reconstruction, fact and fiction.
Rather than presenting archives as fixed historical records, the project approaches them as living materials capable of generating new meanings, interpretations and forms of cultural transmission. Songs, publications, photographs, films, recordings, curation and digital media become tools through which stories can be revisited, reactivated and occasionally rewritten.
OUR LADY PUBLSH. functions as both an artistic framework and an evolving body of work. It provides a space where music, visual art, publishing and research intersect, allowing multiple voices, identities and timelines to coexist within a shared fictional and documentary landscape.
The project continues to expand through new releases, publications, exhibitions and collaborations.
